This guys seems to have the right idea! Log Loading Arch Details – Matt Cremona
We basically used Matt’s design to modify our 1995 Jackson Trailer we won on auction from Aims Community College. We used 1/4″ 3×2 tubbing with 1/4″ gussets and 1/2″ plates to put the system together, along with a mount for our 13,000 pound winch to pull the logs into the trailer. Our partner Barnsley Tires installed our new tires to help us feel safe on the road. My cousin in-law gave us the opportunity to harvest his fallen honey locust. Can’t wait to continue gathering trees and saving them from the mulcher.
